Matthew Hintze
Tutor/Owner of TutoringZone
Classes: FIN3403.
Matt graduated with high honors from UCLA with a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics, and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida, graduating number one in his class (4.0 overall GPA) while studying Finance and Entrepreneurship.
After earning his Masters Degree, Matt was selected as the Marshall Criser Presidential Scholar and was enrolled in the graduate program in Finance at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, Matt has taught FIN 4414 (Financial Management), the capstone course towards completion of the undergraduate Finance major (average teaching evaluation is a 4.96 out of 5).
Matt used to live by himself with no food in the fridge, no plants and definitely no animals. But since 2000 he has married his wife Larina and they now have three children: Madison, Cameron and Brennan; Two dogs: Colt and Sunny; Dubya the cat and 14 gold fish. He used to enjoy skiing, golfing and Texas Hold em’ but now he just prays for more sleep and more hair.

Ethan Fieldman

Originally from Orlando, FL, he is a National Merit Scholar and graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Florida (4.0 overall GPA) with a BSBA, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. He is currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Florida.

Paul Hintze
Tutor/COO of TutoringZone
Classes: FIN3403, ECP3703, ACG2071.
Paul graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a double major in Business Economics, and Sociology. After graduating, Paul worked for a number of years as an accountant both in Santa Barbara and in South Florida . Paul then decided to pursue his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Florida , graduating with a 3.8 while concentrating in Finance. After graduating with his MBA, Paul went to work for America Online in Jacksonville Florida , as an Operations Manager, where he helped them save over $100 million in his first year there. After two years of working at America Online, Paul decided to pursue a more rewarding career, and has been back with TutoringZone ever since. Paul lives in Gainesville, with his wife Christine, new son Connor, their three cats (Roger, Cali and Greta) as well as a Yellow Lab (Riley, brother of Graham's dog Cooper).

Zachary Stepp
Head Mathematics Tutor / Physics Tutor / Director of Internal Operations
Classes: MAC1140, MAC1147, MAC2233, MAC2234, MAC2311, PHY2053, PHY2048.
Living the first half of his childhood in Sunset Beach, Hawaii, and the rest in Florida, Zach graduated from UF with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering,
a Masters in Education, an additional year of graduate work in Mathematics, and is coming back to UF fall 2008 for his doctorate. He loves teaching so much that he works as an adjunct instructor at Santa Fe Community College during the day.
Aside from loving an audience and loving to teach, you might catch him downtown, bartending from time to time, or playing in a reggae band in Northern and Central Florida.

Jon Aleman
Statistics and Management Tutor / Director of HR
Classes: STA2023, STA3024, QMB3250, and MAN4504.
Jon is a Florida naitve and National Hispanic Scholar who graduated with his
Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from UF in 2003. Upon graduating, Jon taught
for several years at Eastside High School's International Baccalaureate program.
Shortly thereafter, he began his career at TutoringZone.
Jon absolutely loves teaching at both the high school and college levels, and he
intends to continue his education by acquiring his Master's in Mathematics
Education. He currently lives in Gainesville with his wife, Jennifer, and their
dog, Talyor (who is more attractive and smarter than Jon).
In addition, Jon humors the rest of the TutoringZone staff by hacking into our
facebook profiles and placing important items in jello.

Jenn Aleman
Organic Chemistry Tutor
Classes: CHM2210.
Jenn is married to Jon and therefore by definition has an extreme amount of patience. Additionally after a few years of marriage any decorum that Jenn might have had has gone out the window thanks to her association with Jon. After all the man places office supplies in Jell-O and waits for them to set!

Rich Melgarejo
Chemistry Tutor

Rich is finishing up a degree in Chemistry, and is going to pursue his masters in Chemistry. Rich... or "You Need It, You Got It" as he is known around TutoringZone is quite the poker player but you certainly wouldn't know it. Trust us he's not "Dead Money" like you might think. In his spare time Rich enjoys listening to music and writing tunes to memorize the periodic elements. (just kidding- He loves Chemistry, but come on.)

Michael is currently pursuing his graduate degree here at the University of Florida and loves turning potential energy into kinetic energy. Only you Physics majors will get that reference.

Graham Rees

Graham is a National Merit scholar that hails from New Orleans, Louisiana. He recently graduated with High Honors from UF with a BS in Economics. He tutors Economics and Statistics, and wrote his Honors Thesis on Fair Trade Economic Theory. Graham resides in Athens, GA and runs the UGA branch of TutoringZone. His claim to fame is that in every way,he's cooler and smarter than Jon Aleman.

Weston Oyama

Weston is a senior Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Florida (It is rocket science). He enjoys long talks on the Taylor Series, sipping on Fluid Mechanics, and contemplating the mysteries of Astrodynamics. His dislikes are chocolate cake. With an Asian last name like Oyama, you can guarantee that math is in his genes.

Shae Ferguson

Shae is pursuing a combined degree with a BS in Finance and MS in Decision and Information Sciences. She is a graduate of the Florida Leadership Academy and is involved with the Panhellenic Council as a second year director. She adores Gator sports as well as her hometown Jacksonville Jaguars (they're going all the way this year!). Her favorite event is the infamous Florida/Georgia game, so join her at the Landing this and every year to beat the Bulldogs.
