Credit Card Policy
This is an online Pre-Ordering System.

Yes, TutoringZone accepts credit cards online! MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Diner's Club. Of course, we still accept cash, checks (made payable to "TutoringZone"), and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard Only) at the reviews. A few very important notes...MAKE SURE TO READ!

1) YOU CANNOT ORDER ON THIS SYSTEM LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE A REVIEW. In other words, if a review is at 6pm on Sunday, then you CANNOT order online after 6pm on Saturday. If you do order after registration is closed, we will have NO RECORD of it at the review session (even though your credit card will be charged!). If you did not get in before the 24 hour mark, just bring your credit card to TutoringZone and we will take it at the door.

2) We have worked long and hard on security of online ordering, and we have achieved the absolute highest level of security available (for you techies, that's 128-bit encryption with an SSL certificate using VeriSign). This guarantees that your credit card information will remain confidential…no matter what. Our security provider, VERISIGN, is the most respected company in the industry.

3) Credit Card fees charged to your credit card will be EXACTLY 2.3% plus $0.30 per transaction. This is EXACTLY what we (TZ) must pay the credit card and security companies in order to offer you this added convenience.

4) You can pre-pay for as many Review Sessions as you like with one credit card transaction. However, since you will be asked for the name of the student who is attending the review (as well as the cardholder's name), you may only purchase reviews for one student at a time. If you wish to purchase reviews for more than one student, simply complete one transaction for the first student and then start over for the second student.

5) You are required to be on the email list for any class for which you purchase Review Sessions. The reason is very simple: if there are time/date changes or important updates, we need to have a way to reach you.

6) We require that you print out the confirmation email (which you will receive instantaneously after you complete your 'checkout')…and bring the printout to the review. This confirmation email contains your CONFIRMATION CODE, which we will need in order to verify that you pre-paid for a Review Session. Also, this makes the process go faster if there is a large turnout at the review. Thank you for your cooperation.

7) If you pay for a review session and the review is offered more than once, you can come to whichever one you prefer. However, if you pay for a review and are unable to come for some reason that is not under the control of TutoringZone, we cannot offer a refund. Of course, as always TZ guarantees your satisfaction with reviews. Therefore, if you come to a review and don't think it was worth the price you paid, we will refund your payment (over 6,500 individuals have come to TZ reviews and this has never happened, but the guarantee still stands…and always will).

8) Paying by credit card does not reserve a seat at a Review Session. You need to make sure to be there early in order to get a seat.

By clicking on the button below, you are agreeing to all of the Terms and Conditions above, and you will be sent to our secure ordering page. PLEASE make sure that you understand and agree to everything above. We hope that you will appreciate this added convenience, which we have worked so hard to provide. (updated 8/18/03)
